Decomposition Party shows three fairies representing the three organisms that decompose dead matter (scavengers, bugs, and fungi/bacteria). Each character has its own appeal and mystery, but they are unified in purpose, the decomposition of the deer. In the spirit of nutrient recycling, I upcycled old barbie dolls to make each fairy, and modified them to achieve the form of each character.

This was the work that really inspired me to start sculpting more, and eventually construct my own dolls from scratch, so it's very near and dear to me.
